Not Gangnam Style but Gingham Style.

I made the Christmas cards with this pattern from the Silhouette online store. I backed red cardstock with single sided gingham scrapbook paper, the reverse of the paper is white, so it’s easy to write the message inside.

If you use this pattern, add a scored fold line to the centre of the card before cutting. I didn’t notice that the pattern didn’t have the fold line and because of all the empty space on the front of the card it was really difficult to get an accurate fold after cutting.
I messed a couple up (doh!) so I used the reindeer frame part of those as a single panel with a paper backing and attached it to a plain white card (below).
Then I used the negative part of the cutout for the other card below. I removed it carefully from the cutting mat with transfer paper, attached it to a slightly larger square panel of gingham paper and then on to plain white card. It was good to use up the scraps and not waste them for a change 🙂
All in all, not a bad effort – 3 card variations from the one cutting file!
These are lovely. You kept it simple and a delight to look at.
