Birthday that is….but it could be for anything really.
I made this card for my nephew. I really like the slim line look of the font – it’s Agency FB. It’s versatile for these sort of message cards and it suits the minimalistic style that I prefer, especially when the card is for a bloke.
I mounted the cut out panel on the black card then stuck down the inside cut outs from the letter A, D and O afterwards to complete the the voids.
As I gave him a gift card too, I made a simple folder for it with the same font. This time I used the knife tool to make it into a stencil style font, because as the text was smaller I didn’t want to be trying to glue down the tiny inside parts of the letters after the cut.
I lined the inside with a black panel and there’s plenty of room to write a message too.

I love these cut files!!! Great idea about using a knife to make it into a stencil font!! I have to figure out how to do that!!!
