I had fun welding lots of numbers together in the Silhouette software to make a panel to decorate a Birthday Card.
For free File Friday I’m sharing the jumbled up number panel and the small square age panels. I’ve included a few possible Birthdays but if the age you need is not there, it’s easy to customise it – the numbers are in Arial in 72 pt and I’ve centred them in the backing square.
Here’s a close up of the card:

I made this card a a couple of months ago and now that I look at it again with fresh eyes I wish I’d cut the white background behind the numbers larger, so it would form a border – similar to the way I did the “40”.
To do that, just offset the backing panel to make it larger before cutting. I think I’ll try that next time I make this card.
I’ve included some basic instructions on the file.
Here’s the file for Silhouette V3
Here’s the file for Silhouette V2
Please help yourself 🙂
Update March 2015
This has been a popular cutting file and I’ve seen a few great versions of it out there on the web. Just wanted to post a new version of this card that I made recently. It shows how different the cards can look when using the same file but with different shapes, colours and dimensions.
Oh so fun! Thanks!
Thanks for visiting Sue.
This is awesome! Thanks!
Glad you like it Mari.

What a great file! Thanks for sharing.
glad you like it Marilyn! Thanks.
I can’t seem to get my studio to import the .studio files I download.
Hi Twinels,
Thanks for visiting. I use Firefox and when I click on the download button for the files, I get a pop up box – It gives me a choice of “Open with” or “Save”
I choose “open with” and hit the “Browse” button and choose ” Silhouette Studio” Then I hit the OK button on both of the pop up boxes. When I open Studio, the files are sitting there ready to go. I can work on it or save it to my library or whatever,
If that doesn’t work for you. Try Finding it via your download folder and double click on it and it should automatically open up the file in Studio. Once you have the download open in Studio you can save it to your library or to a folder on your computer.
Not sure how it works with different browsers or systems if you are using something different – I have windows 7 and use firefox, . Hope this helps a bit – Sorry you are having trouble.
Thanks! This is soo great! I’ve had my silhouette for awhile and just haven’t gotten around to doing much on it but I’m very excited to use some of the fun files you’ve done!! Thanks
