Perfect as next Friday is the 13th and this is a great cut file for Halloween too – today’s free file is an owl on a Branch. Although I do think he’s a little too cute to be spooky! Cut him in a single colour as a Silhouette as I did below or add a pop of colour behind the shape to peek through the internal cut outs to make his features stand out (as in the picture above.)
Use him on a card, or cut him from vinyl – I’m sure he’ll be useful in your projects.
Here’s the File.
Update: Now available in SVG. More details and link here.
Credit where credit is due: I made the cutting file by adapting a vintage owl image from The Graphic Fairy. If you’ve never visited the site – check it out. It’s a fabulous resource – there are hundreds of vintage/out of copyright images posted there .

Hi Pam. Don’t celebrate Halloween myself but this would be brilliant for those that do & I am sure they will love to use the file you have generously shared. The owl looks great on your ‘tree’.

Thanks Tine 🙂 Halloween isn’t quite so big over here in Oz either. People don’t generally decorate houses and that kind of thing (at least not that I’ve noticed!). I usually buy in some treats in case Trick & Treaters call, but some years we don’t get any and I end up eating all the lollies myself!

Hi Pam – for some reason this file is telling me it’s gone {getting a 404 page, with an oppps guy} – is it me, or is he gone? Thanks SO much for all the lovely work you do & generously share with us 🙂

Hi Christi,
Not sure why it was broken but I’ve fixed the link now. It should be a direct download to your download folder now.
Thanks for letting me know and for your kind words 🙂
