Here’s a sweet little Christmas Card design. I’ve cut the body and top layer from white card and put contrasting blue paper behind the top layer.
Before I assembled the card, I taped a small sheet of aluminium kitchen foil to the back of the blue paper. I used little pieces of double sided tape dotted over the back to attach it then I gently rubbed the foil over the holes from the back. This pushed the foil into the holes slightly and gave it a smooth rounded look from the front. The foil gives the design a little sparkle but of course you can use different paper or card if preferred.
Here’s a closeup:
Hope you like the design and give it a try – I’d love to see it if you do different colour combinations.

Lovely card, Pam. I have a soft spot for blue & white & the touch of silver really sets your card off.
Thanks Tine, Yes I love the colour combo too but it did need that little silver extra – who’d have thought I’d find it next to the Cling Wrap in the kitchen drawer!
Beautiful. Love the colors.
Have a creative day.

Thanks Robin.
Great card. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for coming by Cindy.
Oh, you clever girl! I love your tip about the foil, and I love your pretty card! I can’t wait to try the foil trick! Like Tine, the blue, white and silver theme is a favorite of mine!
Thanks Barbara. As usual we’re expecting a hot Christmas here in Australia, so those icy blues, silver and whites help keep the illusion of “cool”
