Gift Cards are great for those hard to buy for people but rather than pop them in a boring plain envelope it’s nice to jazz them up a bit with some festive packaging.
The glitter isn’t mandatory though. 😉 I have to admit I’m not usually a glitter lover but I thought a little touch wouldn’t go astray on the nose and the belly band.
To make the belly band I ran double sided tape on the long edge of a sheet of white cardstock, then I cut with my exacto knife alongside the tape to cut off a thin strip of card. I removed the tape’s protective paper and dipped it sticky side down into a little pile of glitter, until it was all covered! Lots of messy fun!
Use glitter cardstock or plain cardstock for a” less mess” version, or twine or ribbon instead of the belly band.
Plenty of room for a message inside too:
This folder fits an 8.5cm x 5.5 cm Gift Card. That’s the standard size here in Australia but I’m not sure of other countries. You may need to make an adjustment if your card is a different size.
