I’m back!
When I mentioned in my last post that I may not post files every Friday, I didn’t realise it would be a whole month before I’d get a chance to get back here!
Life has been a little hectic, but I hope to find some website and crafting time now. Thanks to all my new subscribers (since my last post) and of course to my old one’s for sticking around in my absence 🙂
I showed off this card last year, before our Australian Father’s Day (which is the first Sunday in September) but didn’t share the cutting file then, so that’s what I’m doing today.
Options
I made a second Print & cut banner and placed it on the inside – I positioned it inside – exactly behind the banner on the front of the card, so it wouldn’t show when the card is closed.
Alternatively you could ungroup the layer of the design that is cut from white card and delete the two cut out sections between the letters – This will make a solid card base. That way you could add any message you like and the cut outs won’t get in the way.
It’s just in time for those celebrating Father’s Day in June……or use it as a Dad Birthday Card any time of the year!

I’ve had my Silhouette portrait since January. There is definitely a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll love it. This blog is fantastic! Pam’s cut files are great. Two other blog resources I’ve found very helpful are Silhouette School and Clever Someday (her YouTube videos are so helpful). Good luck and happy cutting!
