I had fun this week playing in the Studio Software and created this Damask Style Bookmark. The trouble is, most of the books I read these days are on my Ipad………..
Hmmm that doesn’t work does it?
Now, this works a little better 🙂
Are you like me and don’t need a bookmark? Then, maybe you could use the file as an overlay on a card instead.
Hopefully you or someone you know can use an elegant bookmark like these.

This design was bought to you by the letter “Y”. Yes, I used the letter “Y” from The Damask Dings1″ free font as the starting point of the design. Then I manipulated it, replicated it, added bits, subtracted bits and generally had fun with the Silhouette software until I ended up with the design I have here.

That is a fabulous design – you are so clever, thank you so much
Thanks Glennis – that is so kind of you to say. I’m so pleased to be back into it and making files after a few months of sporadic posting.
Thank you, Pam! Love this design—even if I do usually read on my iPad! I will adapt it as a background for a card, as you suggested. Thank you again… Love it!
Ha Ha Phyllis – just like me with the I pad! Just as a coincidence a friend gave me a “real book” today as a present so I’ll actually be able to use one of the samples now 🙂
These are beautiful! I admit that the majority of my books are read (or listened to) in digital form these day, but I occasionally find time to read a physical book. And what a great idea to use it for cards instead!!
Thanks for visiting Kristy – I have a couple of “real” books waiting to be read. It does make a nice change from the IPad.
C’est très beau ce que vous faites. Merci beaucoup de nous l’offrir.
Beautiful. for a card or a bookmark. Thanks
