Eeeew, Spiders! Lots of them. Except mine are cuter (sorta) than the real thing.
I had lots of fun with these creepy crawlies when I was making this week’s free file. I’m thinking that they’d make great and easy wreath decorations for Halloween.
Each decoration has two layers – the top layer with the spider cut outs and a contrasting backing piece. The larger size will fit nicely on 12 x 12 card stock (it would make a quick door wreath project) and the smaller version will fit A4 or Letter size, but of course you can resize however you like. I used card stock but it would be fun to make window or wall decals from vinyl too.
After cutting, the top spider layer will split into two parts – just line them up carefully when attaching them to the backing piece.
On my test cut above, I was able to weed out the spider shapes in almost in one piece, so I attached these to a backing piece to make another decoration (below). Yay – bonus decoration!
Hope you can use the free file – if so, I’d love it if you shared my post around too for others to see 🙂
