Next week on 11th November we observe Remembrance day. It’s the anniversary of Armistice Day in 1918 of WW1 and here in Australia, over the years the day has evolved to honour and remember all who died and suffered for Australia’s cause in all wars and armed conflicts.
So with Remembrance day (also observed in other countries too) and Veterans Day in the US in mind, I have made this Print and Cut banner design with two sentiment options. There’s “Lest We Forget” which is widely used in Australia’s commemorations and “Honoring all who served” (with US spelling) for those observing Veterans Day in the US.
Perhaps it could adorn a photo of a loved one who served or decorate your door wreath for the day. I made my small wreath from a single long Rosemary Sprig from the garden which I tied together with ribbon.

Reset the page size to match the size of your Card Stock and resize the banners as needed ( make sure they fit within the registration marks area) I rotated the banners to fit them on my A4 card Stock for printing. You could also offset the design and add a contrasting backing too.

I adapted a free vector banner graphic to make the banner part of the cutting file.
Thanks for sharing this excellent project for Remembrance Day at the Say G’Day linky party. I’ve just pinned this to the Say G’Day Saturday board.
Lest we forget.
Best wishes,

Thanks for stopping by Natasha and thanks for the pin too 🙂
Thank you so much for this remembrance banner. I lost my son in Iraq in 2005 and my father in Vietnam in 1969. I will be using this to make a banner for myself and one for my mom. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talent. I am new to Silhouette ad have some much to learn.
Judy, I’m so very sorry for your losses. I’m honored that you’ll be able to use my cutting file in this way to help keep their memories close to you.
Enjoy your Silhouette – they truly are fabulous machines that can do so much!
