Instead of posting next Friday on Boxing Day, I’ll be taking the day off 🙂 So, I’m slotting in this extra post before Christmas instead.
At this time of year, “Quick & Easy” is the way to go and you really can’t get any quicker than a printable like this one. I’ve also made it into a Print & Cut Studio File.
I’ve been playing around in Photoshop and this little typography graphic is the result. I’ve used it twice already.
I printed it out on 10 x 15cm (4×6″) matte photo paper and trimmed it to fit a pre made blank card, then I textured the bottom by placing only the bottom section of the photo in an embossing folder. I ran it through the embossing machine, then wrapped some Bakers twine just above the textured area. I taped the twine on at the back and finally, I mounted it all on the blank card with Double sided tape. It only took a couple of minutes! Great for a last minute Christmas Card.
For my second project, I printed the graphic out again on photo paper and replaced a picture in the kitchen for a bit of extra festive decoration. When Christmas is over I’ll take it out and pop the original picture back in the frame. Too Easy 🙂
