The Beatle’s song lyrics have inspired me before, like when I did this Card project . This time my inspiration was another Beatles classic, “All you need is love”.
I really enjoy designing and making graphics in the Silhouette Software and this time I used lots of the sketch pen features in the Designers Edition to make the heart graphic. I didn’t really intend to use sketch pens – I just like all the effects I can create with the software tools. So, I saved the results as JPEG’s and imported them back in to make a quick print and cut file instead of “sketching” with my machine.
Use the file to whip up a last minute Valentine card or gift tag or print out the file and frame it for an easy Valentine Decor project.
The Options.
- The links at the end of the post are for the usual V2 and V3 Print and Cut Files.
- I’ve got an extra option for readers who have the Silhouette Designers Edition installed too. I’ve kept the design as is without converting it into a JPEG. The benefit of this is that you can group it all together and resize it, or you can also change just the Background layer to whatever colour you like. Orange Valentine Print anyone? Ha Ha!
- I’ve also included JPEG files which print out beautifully on 10 x 15cm (4 x 6 inch) photo paper, so if you don’t have a cutting machine you won’t miss out! Choose from two colours. Hope one of these options suits you!

Thanks Kay, That’s such a nice thing to hear and so kind of you, especially as a lot of the tech things I know, I’ve learnt via your blog 🙂
I know what you mean about the sketch pens – It’s hard to know when to stop!
