It’s Mother’s day coming up on May 10th in Australia and many other countries too.
So this post is good timing for the readers of the countries who celebrate it on the same day as us, but a little late for my UK readers and way too early for my near neighbours in Indonesia. (source) Still, any day is a good day to honour our Mums and these files would work nicely for Birthdays too.
I’ve been playing with the water colour style backgrounds some more (since last weeks bookmarks) and I’ve made some Rose Circles, which are decorative Print and Cut elements. These are included in the file.
Use them anyway you like: I’m thinking Gift Tags, Gift wrap decorations, Card overlays, or even as a doily or paper coaster. (Maybe don’t put food directly on them though, as they’re not food safe and you may need to spray with a fixative so the ink doesn’t smudge if they get moisture on them.) Or if that sounds too complicated you could pop the smaller design on a cocktail stick and make a cake topper with it.
The Options
I call my mother “Mum” but your mother may be “Mom” – so I’ve included both options in the files.
I’ve popped the cut out on the Lacy Circular card I made here
