I’m posting a couple of days early this week. If I kept to my regular posting schedule of Friday it won’t leave you much time to do this project before Easter arrives!
So here it is, a gorgeous Easter Card featuring antique style Damask and a lovely dreamy White rabbit. It’s a Print and Cut design for Silhouette users and I’ve also included a JPEG printable for non Silhouette users.
The design is the result of playing around in Photoshop Elements and testing out a few new techniques I learned recently.
Silhouette User Options
You may ask “Why bother with a Print and cut file when you could just print out the JPEG?” Well, it’s true that the Print & Cut file really only cuts the outline of the card, which admittedly would be easy to do with an Exacto knife or scissors, but the beauty of doing it via the Silhouette Studio software is the extra options: If you don’t need a card, resize it to make it smaller and create a Gift Tag instead, or slice it with the knife tool to remove the reverse of the card and just use the front of the design – perhaps pop it in a frame for some pretty last minute Easter decor.
To make the extra shapes below, I duplicated my design, ungrouped and deleted the cut lines leaving just the background design. Then I opened other files from my library, positioned them on top, resized the background Card design to fit and hit > modify > crop. Then I printed and cut the newly created designs in the normal way.
Wishing all my readers a lovely weekend and a Happy Easter to those who celebrate 🙂

All my Easter projects.
Both of the above Antique Easter Bunny files are for V3 even thought one says V2.
I use V2 & it won’t open saying it’s for V3.
Hi Janet, Thanks for letting me know. I’ve re saved and re uploaded the V2 file – it should work fine now.
Merci pour ce joli fichier de lapins et étiquettes de Pâques.
Amicalement
My pleasure Nicole.
