Have you ever put your drink down at a party and when you came back to it, it’s surrounded by identical looking glasses and you have no idea which one is yours?Β Well, these practical Wine glass collars which slip around the stem of the wine glass will take care of that First world problem π
The Options.
There’s two cut out styles and a plain one included in the free file. (links below)
Cut the plain design from lots of different patterned papers or simply cut them from a single coloured paper or card to match the party decor. Either Hand write the names after cutting or use sketch pens prior to cutting. Just a tip though, it may be best to do any writing with a permanent ink. If there’s any condensation on the glass and the tag gets wet it may cause the ink to run a little.
If you’re using the cut out styles instead, use a different coloured or patterned card or paper for each to let your guests identify their glasses that way. Which ever option is used, it’s a great way to use up those leftover scraps of card and paper.
I cut mine from plain scrapbook paper which is thicker than copy paper but not as heavy as card stock. I made them at around 2 1/2 inches but they can easily be resized to whatever size is needed.

Thanks Meredith. I had those wine charms once but they all went rusty/corroded in the drawer – must have stored them still damp!
