This design came about when I was playing with the “Rotate” tools. I drew a pentagon shape and rotated it multiple times. It was luck and not intention that turned it into this circle of arrows after I welded it together but I kind of liked the end result, so I made it into a card.
Here’s the basic white Card ready to be decorated as desired…..
The Options
I popped a sentiment on it using sketch pens using the font “Outfitter Script”. If you don’t wish to use the sentiment, un-group it all on the file and move or delete the text.
You could leave the card as it is, so that when it’s closed you can see through to the inside or pop a contrasting colour behind the to make the pattern really stand out. I used a black contrast panel and I also added a red circle directly sandwiched behind the cut out and infront of the black contrast panel. Then on the card front, I added a smaller silver circle.
To finish off my card I popped an Arrow flag sentiment on the front which is included in the file. I printed it directly from the Silhouette Studio but cut it out with scissors – it was all straight lines and quicker than setting up as a print and cut. The font I used is Agency FB.
I decorated an envelope with a Gift Tag (find the File Blog post here) and another Arrow Flag.
