This week, Halloween’s over and I’m getting right into the next holiday which is of course Thanksgiving!
That’s if you live in the USA. Here in Australia we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving and I expect there are many other countries that don’t observe it either but don’t worry – I haven’t forgotten you!
The free file is a print and cut design with three choices – “Give Thanks”, “Thanksgiving” or for those of us that aren’t giving thanks specifically on 26th November I have simple “Thank you” which is great for any time of the year.
These would make great stickers or gift tags or could be used to decorate cards or scrapbook pages or whatever else you can think of.
Options
The file is in basic black colour but you can easily change the colour before printing by using the Colour Fill and the line colour options in Silhouette Studio.
Credit Where Credit’s Due
I know you’ll want to know about the font, it’s great isn’t it? It’s a purchased font called Aura Blue and it’s a Modern Calligraphy font.

Missing in action last week
Last week I was MIA and didn’t publish a post. We were away for a few days attending a country wedding which was just beautiful.
We stayed in a lovely cottage in the bush with other friends we travelled down with. Even though I’ve lived in Australia for most of my life, nothing beats the thrill of seeing Kangaroos and Kookaburras in the bush.Β We don’t see many any Roos where we live in suburbia!
This Roo is just one of many we saw while out walking one evening. There were actually two kookaburras – one on the next fence post too – they looked like sentries guarding the shed, but the second one flew away before I had a chance to take the pic. This one stayed put and just watched us walk by.
Thanks Pam, for the fabulous free files that you are always so generous with and for the inspiration that you provide, you are a very clever and gifted lady. Special thanks today for the lovely pictures, living in the UK this is a glimpse into scenery that I will probably never see
Hi Pauline,
Thanks so much for your kind words. I’m from the UK originally Pauline (many moons ago) and while you don’t have Roos & Kookaburras at least you get those beautiful snow and red robin scenes π
Love the pictures! How fun to go walking and see a kangaroo… Australia is on my bucket list!! π
I don’t have a silhouette but someday hopefully! These are lovely sticker designs. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Thanks for your kind words Sarah Eliza. Much appreciated. The cutting machines are so much fun!
Thanks for the superb photos, now I know what a Kookaburra looks like! I am fortunate to live in Aberdeenshire, only a few miles east of the Highlands of Scotland. Deer appear in the garden and Red Kite are to be seen not far from home, but never a Roo! (There are folks farming Ostrich and Llama, though.)
Thanks once more for your brilliant freebies and the hard work that goes into their creation, they are very much appreciated.
Hi Pam, Thank you for the files, I may use 2 of them, but like you I live in Australia too, it is a great place, with our birds and animals in the wild, I like your pictures too, Cheers.
Hi Anna,
My pleasure.
Great to meet another Aussie Silhouette user π
Cheers
Pam
Thank you for being so generous with your time.
