It’s Lunar (Chinese) New Year coming up on February 8th and is soon going to be the Year of The Monkey. In the (very) distant past I was born in a year of the monkey!
I must of had that in the back of my mind when I came up with the idea for these designs. This is a great file for the Littlies – great for kid’s projects and I can imagine these 3 cheeky monkeys adorning Bibs, onesies, little T Shirts, or decorating Treat bags, or wrapping paper. They’d make great stickers too if you Print and cut the file – change the colours how you like.
The monkey’s tail is the first letter of the word, which then follows the line of the monkey’s back.
Credit where Credit’s Due.
The original starting point for this design is a monkey shape from the Font WManimals2 – a free non commercial font available at Dafont – it’s the upper case letter T.
I’m a big fan of this font and have used it in these designs – just click on a picture to see the post:
The Files
I was a bit time poor this week and haven’t had a chance to Test cut these files. I’m not expecting any issues though.
