You’ve just been poisoned….. only kidding!

I’m Posting a day early because of the Easter break.

Do you play tricks on your family or friends on April’s Fool Day?

I don’t usually as I don’t have the imagination for it.  But…. I saw this idea and thought it was fun and pretty harmless and something I could make fairly quickly.

Now confession time…. I tried it out on my husband earlier with his morning coffee and when I was setting up the pictures for this post, he thought it was hilarious but I won’t be able to catch him out with it a second time so I’ll have to think up something else for April’s Fool Day…or maybe not!

 

How to…

Resize the decal to fit a glass, or glass cup or mug that you have on hand. Mirror image the design (actually I’ve already done this for you) cut from vinyl, weed then transfer and position on the outside bottom of the glass.  Fill the glass or glass cup with your “victim’s” favourite drink and serve up with a smile! When the drink is finished and the glass is empty the message will show through the bottom of the glass.

• just a tip though…..if your cup has a handle make note of  what hand your “victim” holds their cup with and position the vinyl so it’s the right way up for them to read when they’ve finished their drink!

The Options

I used Frosted vinyl for my glass and cup but any vinyl would work. When the glass is full of liquid the words can’t be seen. Be careful when you wash it though. It’s pretty easy to dislodge the tiny vinyl letters.

If you wanted something more permanent then the file could be used as a stencil and the glass could be etched.
