Here’s a cute little Baby Pram design to welcome a new Baby.
This cutting file can be used in lots of projects. I’m thinking Baby Gifts, Baby Gift Wrap, Baby Showers, Scrapbook pages or even Baby decor.
I’m sure you’ll find it handy for a few of your Baby Projects too.
How to use the File.
It’s a regular cut file, so the file can be resized as desired, ungrouped and cut as individual elements. However, like most of my files it’s easy to convert it to a Print and Cut by just filling in each part with colours or patterns of your choice.
Here’s a few examples where I filled with patterns and colours in Silhouette Studio just to give you some ideas.
I made a print and cut element which I’ve used on a card. To add some definition to some of the elements such as the white lace trim, I added a thickness to the outlines. Do this from the line Style options. Just ungroup the picture, change anything (colours, patterns, line thickness etc) then regroup and add the registration marks.
I also added an offset to cut around that rather than at the very outline of the design. I find my print and cuts are more successful if I do a white border around them. Remember to check the cut lines are on or off before you cut – I’ve wasted good print outs because I forgot to turn the cut lines off in printed areas of the design that didn’t need to be cut!
Here’s my card in the usual minimalist style that I seem to favour!
