Here’s a great little box design. It’s really like an envelope style box. Not too thick – just a little depth to hold a gift card or something on the thinner side.
Options
- Just a tip….If resizing, ensure the main box and the contrast panels are all selected together so that the correct proportions are retained.
- I chose to not cut the perforated lines, I prefer the look of scored lines which I make with my Scor Pal (or similar scoring board)
- The bottom front flap of the box can be adhered to the side flaps if desired…..or not! I haven’t bothered and have kept my box together simply by tying it all together with a ribbon.
- Cut out the panels in a contrast paper to decorate the box base. Decorate the inside or outside adding as little or as much contrast as desired.
Here’s a view of the opened box – I lined the inside with contrast paper.
And I popped a panel of contrast on the back too. You can see from the very top pic on this post that I’ve also added a contrast panel to the top flap of the box.
