6 Of the Best. Websites with SVG Freebies

Today I’m sharing more sites that offer free cutting files for Crafters.  I’ve already shared my  favorite bloggers  {here and here} who offer free files along with inspirational projects. I’ve also listed 10 commercial graphic type sites which are wonderful for free fonts and asst other graphic resources that we Cutters and Crafters can use.

This week I’m sharing another 6 sites. This time they’re all commercial sites in the business of selling cut files but in addition to that, they also share the love with customers and non customers alike by offering freebies too.

If you take advantage of their freebies be sure to read their Terms and Conditions of Download and use, and consider supporting them when you are are in the market to buy cutting files.

Some Tips first

• Click on the headings below to be taken directly to the Freebie page of the websites.
• Note that Silhouette Machine Users will require the Designer’s Edition of the Silhouette Studio Software to use  SVG Files.
• Remember to Extract any zipped folders before importing or dragging the file into your software. (ahem – guilty of this one!)

Miss Kate’s Cuttables.

Lots of cute and colourful designs over at Miss Kates.

Miss Kate’s Cuttables offers one Freebie each and every day.  It’s time sensitive and the file is only available free for that one day so be sure to get it and download it immediately. After that it goes into the 50cent store. Download is via a cart system so a sign up will be required initially.

At the end of the month, all of the free daily designs are released as a bundle and there are other files available to purchase at various price points depending on the designs.

So Fontsy

Fabulous New Designs sold individually or in Bundles that offer great value. The often seasonal Bundles change frequently as do the Freebies. So be sure to check back often. Free Downloads are via their cart system.

SVG Cuts

SVG Cuts is known for their wonderful 3D themed design Bundles. Here’s a typewriter I made from their Good Day at the office Bundle. So cute isn’t it. All the files come with instructions and links to videos if needed to assist with assembly.

They have many, many Freebies on the site too and there’s no need to sign up. Simply download directly from the freebie page. A sign up will be needed if you purchase though.

The Dreaming Tree

The Dreaming tree also offers up fabulous diverse range 3D designs (from tassels to teapots!) and are amassing a generous collection of freebies too.  A sign up is required so you can get the freebies via their shopping cart system.

Birds Cards

There are so many Free SVG cutting files here I suggest grabbing a cuppa before you sit down to browse. There’s everything from Card overlays, to place names card, to Borders, Envelopes and more. Check the drop down menu from the top menu bar to see all the categories.  Download is via the cart system so an initial account sign up will be required.

Printable Cuttable Creations

This site sells SVG cutting files, as well as printable embellishments for Scrapbooking. They also sell digital paper packs. There are over a hundred free offering on this site made up of a variety of all these items.

Download is via the cart system but no account is required.  Just an email address is needed on the checkout page so that the free download links may be sent to you.   Any purchases do not require an account and may be done as a guest too.

Look for the lovely free Scrapbook layouts too – the link is in the top menu bar. I downloaded the great mint harlequin design paper that I have used in the graphic for this post.

Do you like little sayings and quotes. Well, this is the site for you. Cut these designs from Vinyl to adorn Mugs or other home wares. Or use them as sentiments in cards etc or to make Printables. The designs are text based in fun fonts, and each one enhanced by a few complementary graphics.

Download is via a link on the page so no sign up is required. Download  includes SVG, DXF (for Silhouette users) PNG, and EPS10,  Keep an eye out for the Flash Freebie and the surprise freebie on the Top Right Sidebar too.

CatyCatherine

(Update January 2018 : One extra site for good luck 😉

CatyCatherine  offers a free file each day  which is available for 24 hours before it is popped in the shop at the regular price.  So, get it white it’s hot, I mean Free!  Oh, and did I mention that all Caty’s files are allowed for commercial use – even the free ones (up to 3oo creations).  Pop the daily freebie into the shopping Cart, enter the Coupon Code that is published on her home page and Facebook Page each day and check out, and you will be directed to the page with the download link.

Design Bundles

Design Bundles offer just that – lots of bundles of premium design resources including plenty of SVG files perfect for our cutting machines. Look for their weekly freebie bundle which changes each week and is available for a limited time only. Pop it in your diary to check back regularly to see the current free resources and all the other fabulous offerings.  You’ll need to open a free account to download or sign in via facebook.
