Today I’m sharing a Hexagon Shaped Card. I’ve made my card as a top fold card of 5 x 5 inches but it can really be resized to whatever size you prefer, either smaller of larger. Use a Square shaped envelope of the appropriate size.
Just to mix things up a bit I’ve also included an overlay that can be added to the card front for extra optional decoration.
Assembly & Options
For my sample card I used the card base (#1 in pic below) and the overlay (#2). I taped card stock scraps for each of the corner contrast pieces onto the back of the overlay piece.
I then adhered the overlay to the card with foam tape and inset the remaining 7 spaces with small hexagons that I cut with a metal die. They are on foam tape for added dimension. Add further decoration as desired.
No Hexagon metal dies? No worries! I’ve included the shapes (#3 below) so you can cut with your machine. Use the offset tools to make them smaller or larger (or leave as is) depending on how you wish to decorate your card.

Thank you so much for this file. I had just seen a Hexagon card the other day and decided it was too much work and moved on. Now, due to your generous gift, I will be making one after all. Thank you!
