Here’s a cute little sign for the front door.
I made this for a friend to pop on her front door when she was babysitting her granddaughter at her home and she didn’t want callers disturbing them when bub was napping.
The file
The free file includes the text and background shape which I used as a print and cut file. Included is an offset of the text too.
For my sign, I added a pretty digital background I had already and also a couple of koalas. You can find the koalas here – they’re Silhouette Store Files and you may already have them in your library, but of course you can use any other shape or background to enhance the design instead or use the Fill colours and patterns from Silhouette Studio.
Ha Ha! I just realised as I was typing this, I’ve already made a free cutting file of a koala myself. I’d forgotten about it completely and used the Silhouette Store File instead! Here’s my Koala file if you’d like a freebie Koala.
I’ve printed my sign out on Photo Paper and laminated it. I hand cut the laminate to shape with scissors leaving a laminate border so it’s all weatherproof. I added a ribbon to hang it from the door handle or a hook.

“The Sleeping Baby” is in Mulberry Script and the other text is Macarons Font by LatinoType. Keep an eye out for Macarons in a bundle ….which is how I acquired it 🙂
