My experiments with the V4 Version of the silhouette Software continue!
My very favourite way to design is by playing with the rotate tools, in particular, the Advanced Rotate tools. What can I say? – I used to love the Spirograph when I was a kid and the rotate designs reminds me of the cool patterns we made!
Good news is that the steps to rotate and create designs are the same in V4 as they were in V3 of Silhouette Studio and can be found in the Replicate window. This is how it looks in V4: 1 > Open the Replicate Window and 2. Select the middle tab. Then carry on as usual. Here’s my step by step guide.
Here’s the results of my rotating experiments in the V4 software. It’s a decorative element which can be used multiple ways, as an embellishment for cards and scrapbooks or as a vinyl or HTV motif. I’ve included the negative space design too, which would make a great stencil, I like to cut these directly from a card front, or again it can be used as a motif. And there’s a handy solid background too.
