I don’t know about you, but if there’s something I’m not sure about when I’m using the Silhouette Software, I usually open a browser and Google to find the solution.
When I first got my Silhouette machine 5 plus years ago, I read the manual that came with my machine cover to cover and then put it away in a safe place…..never to be found again!
The good news is that Silhouette has a great updated V4 manual ready to use…..they popped it in safe place too but I won’t lose this one.
So, if you’re having an “if all else fails, read the instructions” moment, simply click on the “Help” Icon at the top of the software screen and click on the “User’s Manual” link and it’ll open up in your PDF Reader. There’s an extensive index, 100 plus pages of info and right at the end is a handy chart of keyboard shortcuts.
I also saved it to the desktop so I can check it without the Silhouette Program being open.
While you have the Help Menu open, take a peek at the tutorials link. Its third one down in the list. At the time of writing this, there are 19 short animated tutes on the list with accompanying brief text instructions.
You control the pace and can move on to the next step with arrow keys or use the back arrow to revisit a previous step. The tutes open in the software so you can try out each step as you follow along.
Have you looked at any of the tutes yet? Which one have you found most useful? I’m going to be trying a pop up design soon, so I’ll definitely be checking that one out first.
Merci beaucoup pour toutes ces informations, cela va me rendre un grand service.
Amicalement.
